The rewards to those who contributed to the success of the event are represented on the rear frieze of the Arc de Triomphe. It was made by José Limón, in an earlier style modernist way, adapting formally and conceptually the spirit of the Renaissance, Vindicator of Barcelona and Catalonia actively present in the concert of nations. Again the Allegory of Barcelona, ​​with the shield of the city in the chest, crosses the frieze; but, contrary to the expressiveness of the figure receives the nations, here we are presented serene. The game is very contrasted relay; highlight the soft wall reliefs arising in a careful representation. Figures of various ethnic groups, among which stands on the left side the figure of an Egyptian, and symbols between mythological and allegorical "Women and lion, representing both Cibeles, goddess of the Earth, as Castilla and Leon" give meaning to all which closes the program this monument to progress.
