Inauguration: July 7, 2000
During the spring of 2000, two painters, Rafael Cerdan, 57, and Andrew Means, 27, made this mural on a long narrow avenue of Cambo wall and very close to the Alvarez de Castro Street General. The mural, which covers ground floor and four floors, focuses on remembering the old Pavia poultry, which already existed in 1901. It was a, now defunct, modernist shop that wanted to pay tribute Domenech Pavia Eusebio, a descendant of the founders thereof. Cerdan was inspired by memories, and who lived in the neighborhood of San Pedro and remembered. He and drew media issues that now make up this trompe l'oeil and were helped by Jonathan Cerdan, son of Rafael and Montserrat Jornet, mother of Andreu and cartoonists and painter like him. The mural of the Pavia poultry is opposite the Santa Caterina market. A protective glass prevents any mess.
