To mark the centenary of the birth of Margarita Xirgu and the 125 years of the Romea Theatre, he stood in front of the latter a simple monument dedicated to the actress, consisting of an abstract sculpture of Eudald Serra, the height of a person, put on a small marble base. The inauguration took place on 16 December 1988. The work took up the tributes to the great figures of Catalan theater, like the neighboring monument to Iscle Soler.
