One of the most popular sculptures in the park is a vase with children, by Josep Reynes (1893), located on the shore of the Museum of Zoology. It represents a group of naked boys boarding a vase of considerable proportions, in the middle of a pond. The vase was almost completed in July 1892 but not opened until a year later. It is an informal, decorative work, which breaks with the seriousness of most sculpture park at that time.
