In a courtyard of apartment block Escar Street (also known by the Castilian name, Varadero), built for fishermen in 1972, Francisco Martin Felices an abstract sculpture made known by the name of the sailor. Happy is believed that Martin was a dockworker with artistic hobbies, and previously had participated in the sculpture by Salvador Aulèstia Sideroploide, set at the jetty. They say Aulèstia encouraged him to devote himself to sculpture.
