The building known as the Old Palace chapel has its origins in the thirteenth century, renovated between 1542 and 1547 and restored by Elies Rogent 1868, today known as Our Lady of Victory.
The history of this building runs largely parallel to the Royal Palace Minor Barcelona, also known as the Palace of the Countess, disappeared in the nineteenth century.
It seems that the construction of the chapel has to do with the donation "a house built partially walled and crenellated walls of the old Roman wall next to the castle Regomir" that such Ramon Massanet had made the Order of the Temple. Work should start towards 1245. When the Order of the Templars was dissolved, the building passed to different owners, among them the Order of the Knights of St. John Hospital, until finally it become part of what was called the Royal Palace Minor overthrown in 1858.
