Bou de Sant Pere

Formerly there was, in the old town, two streets with the name Bou. Both referred to a noble and distinguished Catalan family originally from Ullastret (Baix Empordà), who gave important public figures in the city. In the fifteenth century we find Joan Bou, Merchant (1445); Bartomeu Bou, Merchant (1411); Bonanat Bou (1405) and Guillem Bou, Taylor (1431).
